In short

Crawl is a game you play by going out. Check in at a bar and it turns your color on the map. Stay 30 minutes and it's locked in. It stays yours until someone else walks in and takes it.

Method

How it plays

  • Take it, hold it, steal it

    Walk into a bar and hold the button to check in. Stay 30 minutes and it's locked in. Leave early and it doesn't count. The bar keeps your color after you go home, until someone else walks in and takes it. If the person in control is still inside, you get in line and you're up when they leave.

  • Friends and crews

    Add friends and see which bar they're at while they're checked in, if they share it. Start a crew and hold a neighborhood together. Leaderboards cover tonight, this week, this month, and all time.

  • Stickers

    Bars you hold show up on the map as stickers in your color. Prize stickers come from showing up, stealing, and trying new places. Nothing in Crawl counts drinks.

  • Nobody sees where you are

    Crawl uses your location to check that you're inside the bar. Other players never see it. A bar shows how many people are inside, and the only name on it is the person holding it. Turn on Low-key tonight to hide your name until tomorrow and keep playing.

Free to play

Checking in, stealing, lines, crews, and leaderboards are free, and they stay free. Crawl Pro adds more colors, seasonal sticker packs, and your full history. It never adds points or any edge over other players.

Getting home

Crawl is for adults 21 and over. Ride home opens Uber or Lyft in one tap, from Tonight and from your end-of-night receipt.
