Terms of Service

Last updated: December 12, 2025

By using Mixtape, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, that's cool. Just don't use the app.

What Mixtape is

Mixtape lets you create playlists and send them to friends. You need an Apple Music subscription to play full songs.

Your account

You're responsible for your account. Keep it secure. Don't share it. Everything that happens under your account is on you.

Your mixtapes

The tapes you make are yours. By using Mixtape, you let us store and send them so the app actually works. That's it.

Don't be a jerk

  • Don't use Mixtape for anything illegal
  • Don't share stuff that infringes on others' rights
  • Don't try to break into other people's accounts
  • Don't mess with the app or try to break it

Apple Music

Mixtape uses Apple Music. When you use Apple Music through Mixtape, Apple's terms apply too. You need an Apple Music subscription for full playback.

Purchases

Mixtape has in-app purchases:

  • Single tape: $2.99 to send one mixtape
  • Premium: $9.99/month for unlimited tapes and instant delivery

Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. Manage subscriptions in your App Store settings. Refunds go through Apple.

No guarantees

Mixtape is provided "as is." I do my best to keep it running, but I can't promise it'll be perfect or always available.

Limits on liability

I'm not liable for indirect or consequential damages from using Mixtape. This is standard legal stuff.

Ending things

I can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account anytime by emailing me.

Changes

These terms might change. If they do, I'll update them here. Keep using the app after changes means you accept them.
