What Sourced is
Sourced is an iPhone app that gives you one verified fact a day. It is the same fact for everyone. Sourced does not need an account.
Facts are not professional advice
Each fact is researched and cited. Even so, facts are provided as-is. They are for fun and learning. They are not medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. If you spot a mistake, use Report a problem in the app so it can be fixed.
Sourced and its design
James McKinney owns Sourced, including its code, design, name, and original content, except for material owned by Apple, RevenueCat, or another third party. You get a personal, limited, non-transferable license to use the app under these terms and Apple's license agreement. You do not get ownership of the app itself.
Sourced Pro
Sourced Pro comes in three plans:
- $29.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial;
- $5.99 a month; or
- $59.99 once, for lifetime access.
The price is shown before you confirm a purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Apple handles the payment, and Sourced never sees your card details.
The yearly and monthly plans renew on their own unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. To manage or cancel, open your iPhone Settings, then go to Apple ID, then Subscriptions. The free trial ends when a paid period starts. Apple handles all refund requests.
Acceptable use
Do not use Sourced to:
- break the law or violate another person's rights;
- probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, or damage the app or its services; or
- get around subscription limits or security controls.
Availability and changes
Sourced may change as bugs are fixed and features are revised. Some features depend on your iPhone model, iOS version, Apple services, notification permissions, or Sourced Pro. Sourced may be interrupted or discontinued. When practical, fair notice will be given before a change that greatly affects paid access.
No warranties
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Sourced is provided "as is" and "as available." No promise is made that the app will always be available or error-free, or that every fact is free of mistakes.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, James McKinney will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or opportunities arising from your use of Sourced. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for Sourced during the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow every limitation, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Apple terms
Your license to use Sourced is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple is not responsible for maintaining or supporting Sourced. If these terms conflict with terms Apple requires for App Store apps, the required Apple terms control.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Michigan will have jurisdiction unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when Sourced changes or legal requirements do. The date at the top shows the latest revision. If you keep using Sourced after new terms take effect, you accept them.
