takt. is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What stays on your phone
Your focus sessions, ratings, notes, categories, and settings are stored only on your device. We never see them.
What we collect
Only what's needed to sell and support takt. Pro. Payments go through Apple. RevenueCat, a service that checks purchases and unlocks Pro, receives:
- Your purchase and subscription history
- A random ID made by the app, not your name or Apple ID
- When the upgrade screen was shown, which plan you picked, and whether a purchase finished or failed
- Your device model, iOS version, and App Store country
We use this to fix purchase problems. It is never linked to your focus sessions.
What we don't collect
- No account required
- No name, email, or contacts
- No focus session data leaves your phone
- No ads and no tracking across apps
Where your data lives
Your sessions and settings stay on your device in Apple's built-in storage. We have no servers of our own.
If you delete the app
Your sessions and settings are deleted with it. Purchase records stay with Apple and RevenueCat so you can restore Pro later.
Third-party services
Apple handles payment. RevenueCat handles purchase records (revenuecat.com/privacy). takt. connects to nothing else.
We don't sell your data
We never sell your data or share it for advertising.
Kids
takt. doesn't knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update it here. The date at the top will tell you when it was last updated.
