Proof for iPhone

Terms of Use

Last updated July 13, 2026

These terms are between you and JPM Inc. and govern your use of Proof. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Proof.

What Proof is

Proof is a self-reflection app. It helps you rewrite a personal belief into language you can believe and save moments that support it. Proof does not require an account.

Not medical care or an emergency service

Proof is not therapy, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or crisis support. It is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Do not rely on Proof for an emergency or an urgent mental-health need. If you may hurt yourself or someone else, contact local emergency services or a crisis service where you live.

Your writing

You keep ownership of the beliefs, proof entries, and other text you create. The app processes that material on your device only as needed for features you choose, such as rewriting, saving, widgets, and export. You are responsible for what you choose to share outside the app.

Proof and its design

JPM Inc. owns Proof, including its code, design, name, and original content, except for material owned by Apple, RevenueCat, or another third party. You receive a personal, limited, non-transferable license to use the app under these terms and Apple's license agreement. You do not receive ownership of the app itself.

Subscriptions

Proof may offer weekly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions. The plans, localized prices, billing period, and any eligible introductory offer are shown before you confirm a purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account.

A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings. Apple handles billing and refund requests. If Premium ends, premium actions may become unavailable, but the writing you already saved remains readable in Proof.

Acceptable use

Do not use Proof to:

  • break the law or violate another person's rights;
  • probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, or damage the app or its services;
  • circumvent subscription limits or security controls; or
  • distribute malware or abusive material through an export.

Availability and changes

Proof may change as bugs are fixed and features are revised. Some features depend on your iPhone model, iOS version, Apple services, notification permissions, or an active subscription. Proof may be interrupted or discontinued. When practical, reasonable notice will be given before a change that materially affects paid access.

No warranties

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Proof is provided "as is" and "as available." No promise is made that the app will always be available, error-free, or produce wording that is right for you. You decide whether to accept, edit, or ignore any suggestion.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, JPM Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or opportunities arising from your use of Proof. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for Proof during the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow every limitation, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Apple terms

Your license to use Proof is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple is not responsible for maintaining or supporting Proof. If these terms conflict with terms Apple requires for App Store apps, the required Apple terms control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Michigan will have jurisdiction unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when Proof changes or legal requirements do. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Continuing to use Proof after revised terms take effect means you accept them.
